A big win for documentary filmmakers.  The IRS was dangerously close to declaring that all docs are hobbies and disallowing business expense write-offs on taxes.  The IDA submitted an Amicus brief in the Lee Storey case, fighting against that absurd idea that docs aren’t a business out to make a profit.
